Brooklyn Horror Film Festival 2022 Announces Second and Final Wave

Brooklyn Horror Film Festival has announced it’s second and final wave for the October 2022 event. The festival will run from October 13th to the 20th with screenings held in Williamsburg at the Nighthawk Cinema and Williamsburg Cinema.

This year’s edition of the film festival will close out with the American premiere of Gaspar Noe’s Irreversible, a French psychological horror that shows a tragic night of two men working to avenge the horrific experiences of the woman they love. The second wave adds more film premieres to the slate including hand-drawn animated horror The Weird Kidz, the coming-of-age feature Falcon Lake, and the world premiere of Kurtis David Harder’s Influencer. 

In addition to the new films announced, Brooklyn Horror Film Festival will be hosting a special event screening of the anthology Give Me An A. The anthology was developed as a response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade in the United States, the collection stars includes Alyssa Milano (Charmed), Virginia Madsen (Sideways), Gina Torres (The Matrix franchise), Mila Vayntrub (Werewolves Within), Jennifer Hollas (Peacemaker), Sean Gunn (Guardians of The Galaxy films), Molly C. Quinn (Castle), Jason George (Grey’s Anatomy), and JAckie Tohn (Glow). The screening will be followed by a moderated discussion on reproductive rights. For more information visit www.nyaaf.org .
